Herman Miller 'Eames' 670 Lounge Chair & 671 Ottoman with Rosewood Frame
The beauty, comfort and utility of the Eames Chair and Ottoman does not fade. This vintage piece from the 1970s is a fine example. The black leather upholstery is in great condition and has a lustrous patina that only comes with age. Due to its status as an endangered species and its unique beauty, rosewood is a coveted material that is no longer easy to come by. Other than a few small dings the wood frame is in very good condition and has beautiful markings.
If all of that isn’t enough, this piece has a Hollywood history too! Writer and director of classic Hollywood comedies, the chair and ottoman graced the office of renowned comedy writer and director Norman Kaye Panama. A tall man, Mr Panama had the seat height adjusted taller by an authentic Herman Miller specialist. If you are one of those people that always wanted the Eames Chair and ottoman but thought it was too low, this is your chair.
