Wow! What makes this bold table so special? It’s all about the stone. Conceptually speaking the top has a rock like shape that one might find in nature. It is unique but not fussy. The hefty brass structure is a gorgeous contrast that compliments and supports in a manner that feels both natural and luxurious. Now for the actual stone top. It is made from a special type of travertine that has a very strong crystalline structure in the open pores, and a silvery-white cool tone. The treatment is a proprietary process from Henge. They use a water jet rather than sandblasting to expose the deeply modeled texture. The color selection of slabs quite exclusive, and there is a lot of material loss in the treatment process. The end result; an exceptional surface of rare beauty.
