Knoll MR Chaise

In 1927, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe submitted two chairs for the Weissenhof exhibit in Stuttgart, Germany, marking the beginning of the iconic MR Collection. This collection eventually included the MR Chaise, whose tubular steel frame was designed to mirror the human body's curves and give the sensation of floating. Even today, the chaise is produced to Mies' strict standards, showcasing the material innovation and minimalistic style of the International Style.
