Les Arcs Chairs by Charlotte Perriand 1970s (Set of 4)
Designed by one of modernism’s most important figures, these chique vintage chairs by Charlotte Perriand are part of a rich history. As a primary architect and interior designer of the ‘Le’s Arcs’ ski station in the French alps, one of the largest built projects of her career, Perriand designed a series of furniture by the name ‘Arc Mobilier’ including these chairs. The simple design made of a tubular steel frame and thick, cognac saddle leather were both sophisticated and sporty; a perfect expression of what was intended to be an integrated resort where sports and cultural activities met. Bravo!
