In just about every 2019 home trend article we read, curved furnishings are making a comeback. But we don’t think you have to be “trendy” to want to soften a room or create flowing energy with a piece or two of sinuously-shaped furniture. A curved sofa or round coffee table can often function to draw people into the living area rather than cut them off with many square and pointed edges. By contrast, a chair or couch could also create a more romantic and intimate space with its enveloping rounded aesthetic.

We have a few curvaceous contemporary and reproduction pieces of furniture to satisfy any number of reasons you’d like to incorporate them into your home, one mainly being for their high-quality design and manufacture.

Here is how people are decorating with them in their homes today.

The distinctive undulating shape of the Fritz Hansen Swan chair designed by Arne Jacobsen is not only comfortable to sit in but allows for air to breathe around it. Where space is tight or filled with larger masses, the curvy swan chair may be just the piece to balance the room.
