Iconic Ettore Sottsass torchiere from circa 1982. Designed during his post-modern Memphis period, the Callimaco exemplifies Sottsass's bold aesthetic vision. The lamp showcases a striking composition of vibrant colors, contrasting geometric forms, and unexpected details—including an industrial-grade dimmer and a polished chrome cabinet handle that adds functional intrigue. These design elements—the chromatic palette, sculptural shapes, and distinctive hardware—establish the Callimaco as a defining work of Radical Design, capturing the experimental spirit of its era.

This floor lamp offers indirect halogen lighting and features an aluminum body with painted, polished yellow finish and painted, polished grey steel base. the handle is polished chrome with a dimmer switch incorporated into body.
