Achille Castiglioni and his brother Pier Giacomo created the iconic Arco Floor Lamp in 1962, drawing inspiration from streetlights. This architectural masterpiece delivers overhead illumination without ceiling installation—its polished arc extends nearly seven feet, perfect for lighting dining tables or seating areas. Weighing 78 pounds, the base features a practical hole for easy repositioning with a broom handle. The adjustable arc and swiveling shade offer complete lighting flexibility. A design triumph, the Arco gained cultural prominence in classic films like Diamonds Are Forever and The Italian Job, and holds a permanent place in MoMA's collection. This early 2000s DWR edition maintains the original Italian craftsmanship and precise specifications.
