Les Arc Stools by Charlotte Perriand, 1970's (2 sets of 2 available)
Designed by one of modernism’s most important figures, these chique vintage stools by Charlotte Perriand are part of a rich history. As a primary architect and interior designer of the ‘Le’s Arcs’ ski station in the French alps, one of the largest built projects of her career, Perriand designed a series of furniture by the name ‘Arc Mobilier’ including these stools. The simple design made of a tubular steel frame and thick, saddle leather were both sophisticated and sporty; a perfect expression of what was intended to be an integrated resort where sports and cultural activities met. Bravo!
