Hans Hopfer designed the Mah Jong lounge sofa in the 1970s, which has become Roche Bobois’s most well-known and distinctive piece. This fully modular, low-profile seating system introduced a new level of flexibility in arrangement, challenging traditional design conventions and offering a novel approach to configuring living areas. This configuration makes use of colorful patterns and textures to enliven the modular tufted cushions. Adjustable back-rests make this playful and sophisticated sofa the best seat in the house!
