Secondome ‘Glass Martians’ Domes by Fabrica Gallery, 2008

When Objects Work ‘John Pawson Bowl’ by John Pawson, 2001

Furstenberg ‘Tao’ Vases by Kap-sun Hwang

Kap-Sun Hwang, winner of the prestigious Red Dot Award for product design, created these color blocked vases for Fürstenberg in 2003. Each vase is made of colored, not painted, porcelain. The exact cutting and re-composing of previously shaped raw material requires a great deal of experience as well as a delicate touch. These vases are another example as to why Kap-Sun Hwang is considered one of the leading porcelain artists of our time.

Piero Fornasetti, an Italian painter and sculptor, featured his obsession of the 19th century operatic soprano Lina Cavalieri, in thousands of his designs. Today it is Piero's son, Barnaba, who reimagines his father’s art with this remarkable home collection.

Ingo Maurer ‘One From the Heart’ Table Lamp by Ingo Mauer, 1989

German artist Ingo Maurer has received numerous design awards and his work has been featured in exhibitions from the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam to the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Maurer demonstrates his rare artistic style beautifully with the ‘One From the Heart” lamp.
